• Day-2: Photo workshop consisting of three breakout sessions. Each will consist of its own unique setting, Playboy model, and tailored lighting set-ups by each of our master photographers; you will be instructed light-by-light on how the scene was created and receive one-on-one, personalized instruction as you take your turn behind your camera.
While the time keeps ticking and excitement keeps rising, we would like to announce our keynote speaker at the Las Vegas seminar/workshop: Gary Cole, Playboy’s Director of Photography for over 35 years and who has twice been included in American Photo Magazine’s lis of the 100 Most Important People in Photography. Gary, who is now the Consulting Photography Editor for Playboy and freelance writer, has guided Playboy’s stellar staff of photographers including Pompeo Posar, Mario Casilli, Richard Fegley, Dwight Hooker, Don Azuma, Steve Wayda and Arny Freytag. He also worked with some of the most outstanding freelance photographers in the world including Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Pete Turner, Bert Stern, Phillip Dixon, Mathew Rolston, Lucien Clergue and countless others. Gary will share his insight into the essentials of landing that first major assignment, views on the special challenges presented by digital photography, and recollections of spending a career working for Hugh Hefner: Founder of the world’s number one men’s magazine.
