9 Absolutely Stunning Images (As Long As You Photograph and Crop Them Correctly)
Been there, done that, and seen everything. Really? Here’s a truthful view behind the postcard-perfect landmarks when viewed from different angles or distances. The difference between landscape and glamour photography can be a harsh reality. In glamour, the “good from far, and far from good” philosophy is very common when you get a closer look. Landscapes seem to work the other way around.
No matter what the case, you may want to peek behind the beautiful travel brochures before your next photography trip to a far away destination. One of the best ways to see the reality, that has proven to work well for me is “Google Earth” where people post their own images which show me what to expect before I book my flights.
Below are a few of the more surprising finds, with a hat tip to Reddit users ArmoredCavalry and xordis.
