Jerrica Hermanson was a real crowd pleaser at last year’s seminar and was quickly scooped up by Ales Bravnicar to shoot on his set. The attendees had a great time fighting over each other to work with Jerrica.

Her ultimate Girl-Next-Door looks complimented the lighting style and theme of the seminar. She was exactly what many of the attendees had come for and your outcry for more has been heard.

For those of you who may have missed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shoot Jerrica last year, do not despair as you will have another shot at it at our seminar/workshop March 21-22, 2015 at Temple House Studios in sunny Miami, Florida.

Interview:

STC: We’re so excited to have you return to STC. Tell us about your experience at the last seminar.

Jerrica: The 2014 STC seminar was remarkable and very sexy! I’ve never been around so many gorgeous women at once before! The attendees were fabulous to work with and the overall experience was eye opening for me. Two thumbs up!!

STC: You moved from the Midwest to the west coast since we last saw you. How’s the modeling on the west coast in comparison?

Jerrica: The west coast is amazing in itself and the women are stunning. Of course the west coast has many more opportunities to model and the photographers are great to work with.

STC: Not too long ago, you did a big shoot in the Bahamas. Tell us more about that experience.

Jerrica: Yes! The Bahamas trip was breathtaking!! The island I was on was incredibly beautiful! It was truly paradise, the shoot was very exclusive and the sets were intimate and comfortable. The sand was so soft on my skin; the water rushing over my body was the warmest I’ve ever felt! I could lay in the sand or surf all day!! I will never forget the fishermen from one beach!! Haha! Let’s just say they didn’t catch any fish that day, they were hoping to catch a beautiful mermaid in the shallow waters instead!

STC: Tell us about your best experience in front of the camera.

Jerrica: That’s easy! My best experience would be in the Bahamas. I’m still learning to express myself on camera to portray the sexually fierce woman inside myself. It was an amazing feeling to tap into that sexuality and finally be able to show the world my seduction through my expressions and body language. It’s only getting better since that trip.

STC: Would you like to give any advice to our March seminar attendees?

Jerrica: Of course! We’re all learning something new each day, so please keep an open mind to new aspects, views, opinions and opportunities to grow, both as an individual and as a professional photographer! Agree to disagree if something rubs you the wrong way. There are so many characters who attend STC. Just remember you’re here to learn and grow. Listen to the pros! And try to take quality shots! It’s not a race to be the best, I always remember the story of the tortoise and the hare, slow and steady gets the best shots.

STC: You’ve worked with all kinds of photographers, from amateurs to seasoned pros. What qualities do you look for in a photographer?

Jerrica: I appreciate patience; going through the motions slowly sometimes gets the best shots with me. Sometimes things get dull so I need someone with creativity. I’m very creative and I will try anything and be persistent to get the shot. I like to push the envelope a lot. Don’t be afraid to push it with me. Use angles and lighting to your advantage. Be open-minded and give feedback. Let me know what pose works for you and what doesn’t. Also, know your camera settings!! No model wants to work hard for all the photos to be blown out or wasted. We depend on your correct knowledge and wisdom.

STC: What styles of photography do you prefer when modeling?

Jerrica: I used to prefer fashion before my shoot in the Bahamas. Now I prefer boudoir or implied nude. I love showing off my curves.

STC: Let’s get a bit more personal now. Tell us, what turns you on?

Jerrica: HAHA!! It’s a bit odd to admit but muscle car engines being revved up turn me on. A LOT! Also the gear noises in the transformer movies! LOVE!! I’m a VERY independent woman, so there aren’t many things I need done for me but I will graciously accept body massages of any kind, running fingers through my hair and cooking a meal for me, of course having a hot bath ready for me when I get home will start the night off right. I’m really smart too, so if you can hold an intelligent conversation with me for a while, I would melt. I love anything science so feel free to talk nerdy to me.

STC: And what turns you off?

Jerrica: BAD attitudes. Nothing makes a person uglier than a horrible personality. I don’t care if you’re the most gorgeous person in the world physically; if your attitude is foul you are now the ugliest person to me. Also, any man who is not a gentleman turns me off. I believe in chivalry because I am a respectable woman.

STC: What are your goals with your modeling?

Jerrica: I’m aspiring to be a Playmate, other than that I would like to be in fitness magazines and hopefully many other modeling opportunities open up for me along the way. My main goal is to portray natural beauty to the world, I will work my way up to be a well-known natural model one day.

STC: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Jerrica: I have extremely big goals for my life. Five years from now I will have made a name for myself that people will recognize. I’m eager to see which way my life goes since life is so unpredictable at times. My determination to succeed is going to take me places. On a smaller scale, I want to own my first house, and maybe get a dog.

STC: If you could go back in time and start over, would you do anything differently?

Jerrica: I would have saved my dating life for after high school; focused on myself and learning about myself sooner than I did at 21-22 years old. I would have focused more on a healthy lifestyle in my early teens like a healthy diet and exercise regime. Although the farm work for maintaining horses kept my body lean and toned, I would’ve tried harder to have a truly sculpted body. That’s the beauty of life though, growing at our own pace and learning as we go. I can’t complain about where I’m heading, I’m thankful for how each piece has fit together so far.

STC: What locations or places are you dying to go to for a shoot?

Jerrica: I have heard a lot about Greece and the culture and the FOOD! I would absolutely love to go to Greece. France has always been a dream place for me, as well. Ireland and the rest of Europe are also on my bucket list to travel to. If I get a chance to model abroad I would be ecstatic. On a side note to location, Paris would be perfect for my dream shoot. It’s been a fantasy of mine for a while now but I just really want to be in a Victorian style bathroom in a tub full of double stuffed Oreos with a glass of milk in my hand, a moment like that captured to hang on my wall would be priceless.

STC: Any ambitions of becoming a Playmate?

Jerrica: Absolutely! Since I saw my first Playboy magazine (at 12 yrs old) I have admired the class and sex appeal of the women who have graced the pages of Playboy. I decided at a young age to aspire to be admired like those women in a respected way. I believe one day I will make Playmate. My determination to live my dream is strong and I will get there. Time and dedication will decide when and where at this point.

STC: Is there anything else you’d like to say to the attendees of our upcoming seminar?

Jerrica: I look forward to enjoying this experience with you. It’s going to be a blast!!
