Photography team giants Mert & Marcus have once again caused a stir in the media. Just a year ago, the pair showcased a nude pictorial of supermodel Kate Moss for the 60th anniversary issue of Playboy.

This year, they shot Madonna for Interview magazine. One of the three covers features the 56-year old music megastar oozing out of her corset. Inside the pages is a boudoir pictorial that includes a topless shot.

Madonna has never shied away from controversy and it’s not common to see celebrity women, especially at her age, be willing to reveal so much. The pictorial is accompanied by an interview by magician David Blaine where they discuss the pop sensation’s latest musical release.

Will Mert & Marcus’ latest foray into the controversy limelight overshadow their pictorial with Moss? Time will tell.
